AS9100 Clause 7.1.2 – People

AS9100 7.1.2 People is a clause in the AS9100 aerospace quality management system standard that requires organizations to determine and provide the persons necessary for the effective implementation of their quality management system and for the operation and control of their processes. This clause also requires organizations to ensure that their people are competent to perform their assigned tasks and that they have the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience.

  • Creating a positive work environment that is supportive of employee development. This environment should be characterized by trust, respect, and collaboration.

By taking these steps, organizations can ensure that they have the people they need to implement their quality management system effectively and to achieve their quality objectives.
